Getting Started: Open Your Account
Why this matters
Right now your gym probably runs on four things. A paper logbook at the door. A notebook of who has paid. WhatsApp messages chasing the people who haven't. And a spreadsheet you update on Sunday nights.
Kazafit is built to take over all four. It has a screen for each one: your members, the door check-in, invoices, who owes you, your monthly numbers, and texts to members.
But none of that helps if getting an account is a two-week email thread. So you open your own. No sales call, no demo booking, no waiting for someone at Kazafit to create your gym for you. You enter your email, prove it's yours with a code, pick a password, and type your gym's name. That is the whole thing, and you can do it on a laptop or a phone the same evening you decide to try it.
The steps are deliberately short because the setup that matters — your packages, your prices, your members — happens inside the app, where you can see what you're doing. Sign-up asks for your gym's name and nothing else.
After those four screens, Kazafit takes you to the plan screen. Every new account passes through it: you choose a Kazafit plan and pay by mobile money or card before the rest of the app unlocks. That plan is what you pay Kazafit to use the software — it is not the packages you sell your own members.
One thing to know before you begin: finish sign-up in one sitting if you can. If you close the tab before you've set your password, come back to the Register screen and enter the same email — Kazafit sends a fresh code and you carry on. But once you've set your password and reached the gym-name screen, that email is stuck on a half-made account: you can't log in yet, and you can't restart with it. If that happens, sign up again with a different email.
What you can do
- Open your own account, yourself. No sales call and no waiting. Email, code, password, gym name — then you're in as the Owner.
- Type your password twice so a typo can't lock you out. The two entries have to match — that's the only rule. Kazafit won't reject your password for missing a symbol.
- Get straight to work with just a gym name. Kazafit fills in your tax number, phone, address, website and logo later, on the Business Profile screen. No paperwork holds up getting started.
- Come back for a fresh code if the tab closes early. Stop before you set your password and you can return to the Register screen, enter the same email, and get a new code. Once you've set your password, though, that email is locked — start over with a different one.
- Reset a forgotten password without contacting anyone. The login screen has "Forgot password?" — you get a code by email and set a new one.
- Land straight on your dashboard next time. Once your account is set up and your plan is active, logging in takes you right there.
How to get started
You need one thing: an email inbox you can check right now, on the same phone or a device beside you. There's no phone sign-up, and the code never arrives by text.
- Go to the Kazafit login screen. Under "Don't have an account?" press Register.
- On the Register screen, type your business email into Email Address and press Sign Up. You'll see "OTP sent to your email."
- Open your inbox. On the Verify Email screen, type the 6-digit Verification Code and press Verify.
- On the Set Password screen, enter your password under New Password, type it again under Confirm Password, and press Set Password. If the two don't match you'll see "Passwords do not match" before anything is saved.
- On the Company Details screen ("Tell us about your gym"), type your gym's name into Gym Name and press Create Account.
- You'll see "Registration Completed!" Kazafit creates your account and your gym, signs you in as the Owner, and sends you to the plan screen.
- On the plan screen, choose a Kazafit plan and pay by mobile money or card. This is what you pay Kazafit for the software — not the packages you sell your members. Once the payment goes through, the rest of the app opens. See Your Kazafit Plan and Billing.
After that, the order that works best is: fill in your Business Profile, add your membership packages and prices, then add your members, then start checking people in.
Good to know
- The code expires after 15 minutes. To get a fresh one, press Previous to step back to the email screen, then submit your email again. There's no resend button on the code screen.
- Email only. The code comes by email, never by text, and there's no phone-verification step.
- One account per finished email. If the address is already attached to a completed account, Kazafit says: "This email address is already in use. Please use a different email or log in if you already have an account."
- An unfinished sign-up can't log in. Until you finish the gym-name step, your account isn't active — the login screen won't let you in and won't drop you back into sign-up. The way back is always the Register screen. And remember: once you've set your password, that email can't be restarted, so a different email is the clean fix.
- One business name is reserved. It's an internal Kazafit name no gym would normally choose, so you're very unlikely to hit it — but if you do, you'll see "That gym name is reserved. Please choose a different one." Any other name is fine (including your own gym's name).
- Kazafit builds your display name from your gym name. Name your gym Kazafit Gym and your account shows as "Kazafit Gym Admin". You can change gym details afterwards on the Business Profile screen.
- The person who signs up becomes the Owner. Everyone else on your team gets a login created from inside the app afterwards.
- This replaces admin work, not a person. Someone still has to enter your packages and members once at the start, and check-in still needs a scan or a tap. Cash taken at the desk still has to be recorded — Kazafit cannot see money that never gets entered.
